B. A. B. Y. M. A. M. A [Pt. 2]

Safaree helped Onya stack the three blocks that she had. After that they just stared at each other. He looked at Nicki who was smiling at them.

"Now what?" He asked Nicki.

"More!" Onya answered.

"Say please, Yaya." Nicki said.

"More, please." She smiled.

"Why don't you take Safaree to the blocks and help him bring them over."

"C'mon." She pulled at his hand. Before he could begin walking something else got her attention.

"Oh, this is her favorite commercial." Nicki explained as the tiny toddler stared at the screen.

"Why?"

"Dada!" Onya screamed.

"There's your answer." She began picking up the blocks knowing that Onya had forgot about them.

"But, I thought-"

"He's not some big time famous person. He thinks he is but he isn't. He's booked one commercial in his entire life." She rolled her eyes.

"If he has money -"

"Whatever money he has, he spends it partying." She tossed the blocks into a container. Onya ran passed her and hit Safaree.

"It!" She ran pass him.

Nicki laughed at the confusion on Safaree's face. "You have to go find her. She hasn't quite figured out the difference between hide and go seek and tag."

"Ok." He began walking towards where Onya ran.

"Oh, Safaree?"

"Hm."

"She's in the closet." She whispered.

"Ok." He laughed before calling out, "Onya!"

Nicki watched as he went after her. She was enjoying watching him play with Onya. Her own father didn't put that much effort into their relationship. She still was afraid of how this relationship would effect Onya. Onya's giggles pulled her from her thoughts.

"Found her." Safaree said as he carried her over his shoulder.

As soon as Safaree put her down Onya began hitting  his legs. He stood still, not knowing what to do.

"Onya." Nicki pulled her. "What did I tell you about that?"

"Play?" She frowned.

"Everybody doesn't like to play like your uncles." Nicki turned her attention to Safaree. "I'm sorry. Anytime I leave her over my mothers house, she comes back thinking she's in wrestle mania."

"It's fine." He chuckled.

"She doesn't play with a lot of little girls so she's more aggressive. She didn't mean anything-"

"Nicki." He laughed. "The only way I would play with my little sister was if she would wrestler with me. So, if Onya wants a match... She has one." He swiftly picked Onya up and put her upside down before tickling her.

"Excuse me." Nicki excused herself to see who was knocking at the door. She looked out of the peep hole and rolled her eyes. She snatched the door open. "What?"

"Where you going?" He looked her up and down.

"What do you want, Brandon."

"To get my girl."

"No, she's about to go to sleep. You should've came earlier."

"Son, I had to work."

"Really?" She laughed. "Is that why some little bitch was posting pictures of you and her?"

"You ain't my girl."

"But my daughter is. Don't say your going to come get her and then not show up for hours or at all."

"Here you go with this shit again."

"You damn right!"

"Daddy!" Nicki sighed and opened the door a little wider for Onya to get to her father. He picked her up.

"You wanna come with Daddy?" He asked.

"Brandon, its almost eleven."

"Yes!" Onya answered.

"You gone tell my baby she can't come with her daddy?" He asked.

Nicki sighed. He knew that Nicki didn't want to be the reason they didn't have the opportunity to have a relationship. He always guilted her into doing what he wanted by saying little things like that.

"I'll get her bag." She turned and realized that he was right behind her. "Wait."

"What?" He said annoyed.

"We have company... Me and Onya..."

"Who?"

"Don't say no smart shit and don't cause me any problems." She rolled her eyes and took Onya from his arms.

He watched her walk into Onya's room and continued on his way to the living room. He was surprised and angered to see a man. Safaree, too, was surprised to say the least.

"Sup." Brandon nodded and sat.

"Sup."

"I'm Brandon."

"Safaree." They shook hands.

"You her new nigga?"

"Boyfriend."

Brandon chuckled, "Right. What you doing here with my daughter?"

"Man." Safaree laughed. "I don't want no problems."

"If my daughter tell me some shit-"

"Brandon, shut the hell up." Nicki said as she entered the room. She tossed Onya's bag at him. "Tomorrow we're going to take family pictures with my family. I need her back here no later than two."

"Yeah." He stood and took Onya from her. Nicki walked behind them.

"Mommy loves you." Nicki kissed Onya who sleepily rested her head on her fathers shoulder.

"How many niggas you have around her?"

"Bye, Brandon."

"We supposed to talk about these things."

"Like you tell me about every single person you bring around her?"

"I do."

"You don't but Safaree is the only person that I've dated since us. He's a good guy and your not gonna fuck it up with your little kid games."

"You still should have-" She put her hand up and he stopped talking.

"You have a car seat, right?"

"Yeah."

"And you bought her a bed for your house?"

"Not yet."

"I don't want her sharing a bed with you and some bitch."

"She not."

"If she still woke when you get home, have her call me."

"Aite. Can we go?"

"Yeah, yeah... See you tomorrow."

"Yup."

"Bye, Mama." Onya said smally.

"Bye, baby." Nicki blew her a kiss.

Nicki watched as they got onto the elevator before reentering her apartment. When she reached the living room she was surprised to see Safaree cleaning up. To the average person this wouldn't mean much but it meant the world to her. So many nights she's clean up after Onya alone and longed to have someone complete the simple task with or for her. A helping hand that wasn't expecting anything in return. She also hated sending Onya to her father's only to be left all alone.

"Thanks." She smiled.

"No problem." He smiled. "So, what's next?"

"I don't know." She didn't know why but she got those feelings of being left alone with a boy for the first time. As if she was indeed a middle schooler. "Wanna watch a movie?"

"Yeah."

They agreed on an action movie but talked the entire time. And when it was over they continued to talk until the sun began to rise. Before he came into her life she thought that she would be nothing more than "Brandon's baby's mother" but she'd come to a new understanding of herself. Even if her and Safaree wouldn't work out. As he held her in his arms, even just for a few hours, she felt like every bit of the 'woman' and it was all because of him.

I hope this is what you guys were looking for when you asked for an extra part.
